Deforestation is a significant Global Challenge. Nigeria has lost 96% of its original forest cover and is estimated to have 61 trees per person. And tree loss will continue to accelerate at an alarming rate.
This will significantly increase the rate of global warming and loss of wildlife resources.
Green Renaissance Africa Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established with the goal of promoting environmental stewardship and conservation of Trees and biodiversity in Nigeria and in Africa.

Our core values revolve around strong collaborations and partnerships with with NASCO, Early Years Nigeria Initiative, Forest Research Institute and Ellou Design in implementing the Green Generation initiative (GGi) educational program which seeks to embed environmental conservation and tree planting through engagment at the elementary education level.

Our core strategy employs best global practices at both pre- and post-planting stages to nurture and protect trees by employing scientifically proven methods and tried-and-tested strategies done in partnership with organizations and individuals with proven requisite expertise in conservation.
